Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine

The Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine in south Oklahoma City honors Oklahoma-born missionary priest Father Stanley Rother, the first U.S.-born priest to be beatified and the first American martyr recognized by the Catholic Church. Dedicated in 2023 at 700 SE 89th Street, the Spanish-mission campus was designed to echo his parish church in Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala, and includes a 2,000-seat shrine church, the chapel that holds his tomb, a museum of his life and artifacts, a gift shop, and Tepeyac Hill with an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Sunday worship is offered in English at 9:00 a.m. and in Spanish at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m., with a Saturday English vigil, daily noon Mass, confession before every liturgy, and weekday adoration. The shrine, museum, gift shop, and pilgrim center are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., drawing local parishioners and pilgrims from across Oklahoma and beyond.
